The Republic of Trinidad and Tobago is the southernmost Caribbean island. It is seven miles off the coast of Venezuela. The country covers an area of 1,979 square miles(5,128 sq. kil) similiar to the size of Delaware and consists of two main islands.

While Trinidad and Tobago has all the things associated with a Caribbean island — sun, sea, sand, friendly people,(referred to as "Trinis" and "Trinbagonians") music, parties, excellent local and foreign cuisine, and a world-famous Carnival, the twin island republic has alot more to offer than what you may imagine. Easily described as a cosmopolitan and industrialized nation, Trinidad and Tobago has grown at a fast pace and has a " country-on-the -rise" vibe not usually found in the Caribbean region.

Culturally, historically and ecologically rich, Trinidad and Tobago differs from other English-speaking islands in that their economy is built around petroleum and petrochemicals........not tourism.

If your visit is for business, eco-adventure, participation in one of the countless cultural festivals, or just to relax in a gorgeous environment, you will experience far more than the stereotypical tropical charm.
