Why live Steel Drum music?

Live steel drum music adds a classy, sincere touch, that an Ipod or CD can't. The music will not fade in and out and you will not have to worry about timing your ceremony to the music. I'll keep track of playing the appropriate songs at the right moments.

What part of the ceremony can you play?

As a Solo performer I can provide gentle background music for different parts of the ceremony.

  • Music before the ceremony as guests are being seated.
  • Music during the ceremony.
  • Music after the ceremony.
  • Music for photo taking ( great for putting smiles on faces).
  • Music for  guests as they mingle and transition to the reception area.
  • Music for the cocktail hour.

How much do you charge? Do you require a deposit and a contract?

My fees vary and are dependent on the length and location of the engagement. Click here for a price quote.

I require a deposit of 10 percent upfront and the balance payable at the end of the engagement.
I work with a contract to ensure that we are both happy.
 
What kind of music will you play?

I will have meeting with you so that I can learn which songs are special to you as a couple. I will then add those to my wedding standards songlist.

How much space will you need?

Minimal. I have one drum and portable amplification equipment.
  • If I play outdoors, I'l need a shaded area as direct sunlight can cause permanent damage to the drums' tuning.

How will you dress?

My wardrobe is modern and up to date. My style is conservative but fashionable. 

Do you travel ?
