They aren't lost

Hi There

I've observed behavior and actions of children that have caused me to falsely assume that our kids are lost. That notion was reversed today when I played steel drums at an assembly for Honorsstudents at Bishop Spaugh Middle School in Charlotte NC. I was happy to see that the kids were attentive and respectful towards the music that I shared with them. In addition to being a great audience, the kids were there to celebrate their academic achievement and perfect attendance. Hats off to them and all those that have supported them in their endeavors, for someone has influenced their decision to strive for success. There were a few students that played instruments and I hope that my performance helped them realize the value of the arts and that they too can use their musical gifts to brighten someone elses day.
